Algae is a micro organism or Cyano Bacteria, that makes it’s own food

Algae is the oldest known form of life, with thousands of strains, growing from the equator to the poles, producing oils from light, to grease like in consistency

SunEco currently generates algae oil at ratio of 40,000± gl per acre foot, per year

SunEco currently generates feed oils at a ration of 50,000± gl per acre foot per year

SunEco’s process is self-powered, with an ultra low energy demand ratio of

.19 units of input, for 1 unit of output

Algae oil has an energy content and physical properties comparable to Soy oil

Algae thrive on agricultural runoff water, high in nitrogen and animal waste, cleaning the water during growth

What is Algae...

Oil Wells vs Oil Lakes

Oil Wells

Petroleum crude is the result of micro organisms, primarily algae that were buried under heat and pressure of shifting layers of earth over several billion years. They once flourished, covering the Earth and absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere, trapping it when they died and fell to the ocean floor where it remains. Today’s oil wells draw this biomass up and during the process of burning, it releases CO2 and other elements into the atmosphere and is thus a carbon emitting product.

Oil Lakes

Algae oil is comparable to it’s buried counterpart, with 3 major differences.

1: Algae absorbs CO2 during growth and releases a slightly lower amount when burned; thus is considered carbon neutral. Algae can also be used to absorb CO2 generated by other industrial applications such as coal fired power plants.

2: It can be grown most anywhere there is inexpensive, low or non productive land, ample sunlight, and dirty run off water, reducing the need to ship crude around the globe and it’s economical leverage by controlling countries.

3: These oil lakes are renewable every 20-30 days and require

NO polluting chemicals or fertilizers and are energy self sufficient.

SunEco has developed the methodology, biology, and process technology to mass produce, harvest, and extract oils from these “lakes” at a volume not yet achieved by any other entity. While there are a number of companies and

institutions pursuing algae oil production, most measure their actual production in liters, while SunEco measures it’s monthly production in barrels.
